RODENTS
Rats and are a very common pest in the us. The most common in the Omaha area is the Norway rat, house mouse and field mouse. All of them are well suited living with humans as are homes provide shelter, water and food sources. Rats tend to burrow underground but will take up nesting in wall voids or in cabinets. They feed on almost anything. Like rats, mice need very little food and water so the home provides both source of food and water.
Are They Dangerous?
Rats and mice are dangerous as they can transmit a variety of diseases such as the Hantavirus. Mouse urine can cause allergies in children. Mice can also bring in fleas, mites, ticks, and lice into your home.
How Do You Get Rid of Rodents?
