Silverfish
Silverfish are approximately ½ to ¾ inch in length and get their name from the silver color and scaled bodies. They feed on paper and paper products such as books and wallpaper. They need a warm moist environment to survive.
Are They Dangerous?
Silverfish are not considered dangerous to humans but can be a nuisance and destructive to items in the home.
